Behind the Apps: How Each Let it be... Title Works

Let it be... is a small studio run by one person. It makes calm apps and relaxing games for phones. This is the plain-words guide to each one: what it is, how it works, and what it asks of you in return.

In short

The studio makes five titles: the journal Let it be..., the fluid canvas Let it Flow, and the games Untangle, Drift and Curio. Each has its own page with screenshots, facts and store links.

  • Two apps and three games, all on Google Play. Only the journal is also on the App Store.
  • Each page states price model, ads and accounts using only what the store listing says.
  • The posts here explain how each title works, without hype.

A small studio is easy to describe and hard to see. There is no office to walk past and no team page with twenty faces. There is one person, five titles, and a handful of ideas about what a phone could be good for.

This page is the map. Each section says what a title is in a sentence or two, and points to its page and to the posts that go deeper.

Why a studio of calm apps and relaxing games?

Most apps want more of my attention. These try to ask for less. A journal that does not punish a missed day, a canvas with nothing to win, a puzzle with no timer, a game where the ball keeps what it has gathered.

That is the thread through all five. It is not a promise about outcomes. It is a design preference, and it shows up in small choices: no streak to protect in the journal, no way to lose in the rope puzzle, no lives in the ball game.

The full list, with screenshots and store links, is on the apps and games page.

What is Let it be...?

Let it be... is the journal. It combines guided prompts, a mood diary, a gratitude garden and breathing exercises, with no account needed and offline journaling. The idea is that the page is never blank: a gentle question is already waiting.

It is on Google Play and the App Store. Two posts explain it in depth: how a private offline journal app keeps my words on my device and how the guided prompts work for overthinking.

What is Let it Flow?

Let it Flow is a calm app built around a living fluid canvas. Touch the screen and color swirls, blooms and settles. There are themed scenes, a Zen mode that hides everything but the flow, and 14 languages. It is a relaxation tool, not a medical device.

Two posts cover it: a fluid canvas for anxious, overthinking minds and a two-minute wind-down with Let it Flow.

What is Untangle?

Untangle is a quiet rope puzzle. Ropes cross on a board, and I move one end at a time into an empty hole until nothing crosses. There is no timer and no way to lose, and the store listing declares no ads, no in-app purchases and no account.

Read why rope puzzles feel calm or how Untangle works.

What is Drift?

Drift is a calm roll-and-grow game. A small ball rolls across a tray of gems, sweets, cakes and cars, picks up everything smaller than itself and grows. There are no lives and no energy, and no ad is needed to finish any scene.

Read how Drift works or the guide to cozy and satisfying games.

What is Curio?

Curio is a cabinet of puzzle boxes. I slide panels out layer by layer until the box opens, and the curio inside goes on a shelf. Boxes are endless and every one can be opened.

Read about unscrew and take-apart puzzle games or look inside Curio's boxes and collectibles.

How are these pages written?

Plainly, and from the store listings. Where a title's listing says something, the page says it. Where nothing is confirmed, the page leaves it out. There are no ratings, review quotes or download counts on these pages, because none are claimed.

The principles behind all of it are on the our promise page, and the about page says who is behind the studio. If the journal is what brought you here, how it works shows the three-second check-in.

Where to go next

Start with the apps and games page and open whichever title sounds like a quiet evening. If a busy mind is the reason, the mindfulness guides and journaling guides are good companions to any of them.

Take away

  • Every title has a page with real screenshots and a short facts table.
  • Claims come from the store listings, and anything unconfirmed is left out.
  • The apps and the games share one idea: a quiet place that asks little of me.
